Why We Started

We believed there was room for something better.

Opaius was not created to be another software company. It began with a simple belief: the things people care about deserve better systems around them.

That belief came from growing up around creativity, competition, and craft. Music, sports, design, engineering, photography, filmmaking, and automotive work all taught the same lesson: excellence is rarely accidental. It comes from respect for the work and attention to the details most people overlook.

Through years in automotive prototype development, manufacturing, diagnostics, quality control and recall-related operations, founder Kaya Dalamanli Wesley saw sophisticated vehicles supported by fragmented software and records. Disconnected applications, difficult workflow tracking and limited access to information made everyday work harder than it needed to be.

The object remained. Its story disappeared. Opaius exists because we believed there had to be a better way.

The original motivation was to help automotive businesses improve operations, quality management and traceability. That interest expanded to consumers. Louro brings the same practical concern for clear, accessible information to the people who own and maintain vehicles.

Kaya Dalamanli Wesley · Founder, Opaius Inc.

Kaya Dalamanli Wesley, known professionally as Kaya Wesley, is the founder of Opaius Inc., the company behind Louro. Before founding Opaius, Wesley worked as an automotive technician across prototype development, manufacturing, diagnostics and quality operations. This experience included work at Lucid Motors through Solution Works in Casa Grande, Arizona, and at Rivian’s prototype facility through Formel D in Plymouth, Michigan. Additional experience includes automotive technician roles with Daimler-Maybach and AKKA Technologies / Mercedes-Benz, and recall-related operations with Formel D.

Alongside automotive work, Wesley’s interests in design, photography, filmmaking and technology shaped a wider appreciation for craftsmanship. Opaius reflects that connection between practical work, thoughtful tools and respect for the details.
